of NTT founder Leech, in yet another cathartic step down the darkened

and solidify the idea into a true sound and vision of his own, once
again combining the volatile, highly charged delerium of power electronics

Church of Dead Girls is a darker and more disturbing journey than

honesty which has begun to permeate every facet of the NTT mindset.
A document of crushed emotional states and savage impulses, The Church
of Dead Girls asks the listener to face their own worst thoughts and
feelings, despite the pain and discomfort, ultimately leaving them
with a permeable feeling of uncleanliness. This is the ultimate expression
of Power Romance sensibilities, spanning more than two hours of sonic

soot of dying factory production fills the poisonous air. Structured
elements of loops and samples meld with caustic textures, erupting
amidst bridled chaos and pulsating waves of white hot, saturated noise
and distortion. An anguished, confrontational vocal presence makes
itself known, exploding in a cathartic aggression brought on by suppressed
demons and festering hate.

NERTHUS is well known from his great split LP
with Sonne Hagal and a live concert with Vidna Obmana. This project
exists since 4 years, but the person behind NERTHUS makes music since
8 years. His influences are the early dark ambient and industrial
bands. The release brings very atmospheric dark ambient creations.
Dark dronings are combined with echoing soundwalls. Dreamscapes dissolve
into nightmares from which you can't awake, perhaps because you really
don't wish to. Exceptionally well conceived sonicscapes culled from
the wastelands of the netherworld. You will discover on the CD also
some ritual influences. This is a very good release in the field of
ambient music. The aim of the mastermind behind NERTHUS is that his
soundcreations always have affects to the limbic system. Each release
comes in a 17 x 17 cm printed artwork in a plastic packing up and
is strictly limited to 300 copies.

In a tradition that is anchored, at the same
time, in avant-garde, ritual soundz and dark-ambient, with a typically
Italian touch, NETHERWORLD gives a peculiarly and elegantly organic
and palpable feel to sounds that, in the hands of others, would maybe
fall flat …and it is as if the sound universe conjured by the
magic of NETHERWORLD was strangely…how could one say? OCCUPIED.
Each moment, eac h twist and turn of this sound adventure bears infinite
richness and elasticity, at all times …those are rather ‘busy’
sound layers but each of the elements has sufficient breathing space
and can differentiate itself from the other surrounding components.
This antagonism represents one of NETHERWORLD’s greatest strengths.
Another noteworthy antagonism: this tendency to propose us ambiences
that are excessively introspective, subdued, withdrawn into themselves,
but which, at the same time, expand, subtly dilate to occupy an incommensurable
space. Upon the first notes (or pulses??) of the opening track, ‘’KALL’’,
this infinite abyss, envelops us and our dreams sink, dissolve, reinvent
themselves…The sound propositions found on’’KALL’’
have enough movement and density to please the ones fond of depth
in their music, but the overall ‘purified’ feel will please

to recreate the anxious vision of the beginning of the 20th century
- desolated places of that period, fear, death, ruins etc. Particulary
for this album, Neuestrasse were inspired by stories of serial killers.
Neuestrasse is the name of street of where Fritz Hartmann, "The
Wolf of Hannover", resided in 1920. The idea of "Introspective
Black Forms" is based of negative emotional states. Presented
in a digipak.

This release is a split between two dark ambient projects: New Risen
Throne (Italy) and Locust Reign (France). From New Risen Throne, we
hear such things as cold reverberations, subtle industrial sounds,
distorted voices in the background, and soft chants. New Risen Throne
has had several releases already on various record labels around the
world, and this split showcases the talent and experience of this
project. No less is to be expected from Locust Reign, whose contributions
on this split outnumber those of New Risen Throne, and offer a similar
aural experience. Quite a fitting title for this release, as well!
Recommended for fans of Instincts and Desiderii Marginis, who aptly
created soundscapes that were vastly more complex and mystical than
the monotonous recycling of deep drones. Released on Deserted Factory

"Eye Of The Nautilus" CD

We are pleased to announce the second release by Numina on the Hypnos
label, the follow-up to his acclaimed breakthrough Sanctuary of Dreams
(2004). Eye of the Nautilus is similar to its predecessor tonally,
but also explores some different themes and textures. Evocative electronic
percussion is present at times, but overall the feel is one of deep-space
ambience.
It is with good reason that Numina is one of the few names in ambient
music to so quickly gain in reputation and prominence in this new
millennium. His work evolves dramatically with each new release, and
by now he has surely made the transition from "new name you should
watch" to the status of "established artist." This
is an album full of ideas, with a fresh and varied sound design. Guest
artist Rudy Adrian lends his trademark sound to the second track,
"Secrets from the Flame," and as with Sanctuary of Dreams,
R. Chris Fraley provides artwork, and Hypnos founder M. Griffin is
responsible for mastering and layout. This is the fourth Hypnos CD
release of 2005, and is sure to be one of the highlights of the year
not only for Numina and Hypnos, but for the entire space & ambient
music world.

"Sanctuary Of Dreams" CD

"While you will never hear a dark-ambient artist on top-forty
radio, it is a genre that is growing. Jesse Sola (AKA) Numina is certainly
not a new face, though. It's obvious in one intent listen. His arrangements,
though seemingly simple and soothing, are actually subtle and complex,
filled with a sense of both wonder and sadness. Among the synth pads
and strings that are part of the genre are washes of monks voices,
the occasional shaker and incidental percussion, and even the voice
of Lycia's Tara Vanflower "Lucid Ascension". "Beneath
the Silver Surface" brings to mind the early work of Vangelis
with analog synth treatments." This is a beautiful CD. While
not as subtle or dark as Raison d'Etre or as structured as Steve Roach,
it finds its niche somewhere between.

FAITHEST "Longing For The Otherworld" CD

As a live member of In Slaughter Natives and
a lyric provider for the song "Purgate My Stain" Janne (a.k.a.
Nymph) strikes out on his own with the debut of his own project Nymph
Faithest. The styles of music employed are as varied as the emotions
and experiences they are meant to explore, but unite under the flag
of dark electronics. Hushed and brooding male vocals utter emotionally
painful lyrics against a backdrop of dark electronics and post-industrial
music, with gothic overtones. On "And Upon Them Great Vengeance
Will Be Executed..." and "...with Wrathful Chastisement"
Janne is joined by dark ambient / post-industrial master Peter Andersson
(Raison D´Etre) in creating two tracks in the aforementioned
genres. Karin Anund lends her female vocals to Janne's own music and
vocals in "Tranquilized at Last" taking on a beauty-and-the-beast
style vocal layering often used by BlutEngel and L'Ame Immortelle.
A strong solo debut album from a man who has already proven himself
worthy, and now seeks to blaze his own path through the dark forests
of the human experience!
